Blue Butterfly Bush

These pretty flowers look lovely but they seed prolifically and will rapidly replace native trees and shrubs. They are dispersed in seed form by birds, ants and in water, and in dumped garden waste.

To control these weeds, hand pull seedlings and cut and paint larger plants.
